In many of his work the use of field recordings play an important role. On his release he has four sounds running at the same time and some random filter to process his sounds. The original field recordings disappeared almost entirely from the scene and is replaced by the static crackle and hiss of the computer filters, sometimes being under attack by the deep drone bass of a refrigerator coming alive. Quite nice.

Phroq (alias Francisco Meirino) débute en 1994, est responsable d'une trentaine d'objets bruyants (cd-r, vinyls) par ci par là. Après le chaos (façon harshnoise) de ses débuts là c'est la paix trouvée : crépitements, souffles et sinus, infrabasses modérées, rouilles en vibrations... Musique discrète et concrète comme une rumeur minérale dans la brume ; douce gestion de flux. Plutôt yin et yang que 69 hardcore. Voilà.
